Save Data Rescue PC 3

When it comes to software, this is the worst of the worst. It is slow, tedious to use, and only functions intermittently. I was able to retrieve some files from a computer that wouldn't boot into Windows, using the method their Customer Service recommended. But when it copied the files to another hard drive, most of the file names were changed and everything was copied in one big pile -- nothing remained organized in folders. Customer service advised that I would just need to look through my files to see what's what. Yeah, right. Try opening thousands of files to see what's what! What a mess! To make matters worse, the files that were retrieved and copied to my secondary hard drive were in an unreadable format -- even Word docs appeared as lines of code and symbols, and jpegs didn't open.

While working with the program, it usually worked fine for about 40 minutes, then all of a sudden it could no longer recognize the source or destinations drives. So, I'd have to restart the computer. Error messages would also intermittently pop up during normal usage. I'd simply retry the operation the exact same way, and it would usually work the second time.

The program does not come with a user manual and the manuals on their website are for a different version. They do have free customer support you can call, but my experience with them was only fair.

The only real positive side is that I was able to copy several individual files successfully by using a method their customer service said wasn't possible. It worked better than their recommended method, although I was only able to do ONE file at a time, and it took about 4 minutes per file.

In summary, the concept of this software is a good idea, but it seems as if it was created and marketed without any quality testing. This is NOT worth the money and time it will cost you.Get more detail about Data Rescue PC 3.
