I curse the day I ever even heard of this supposed download. I have complained to Amazon by email about 2 months ago but have recieved no response at all. I have probably spent 40 hours trying to figure out how I can download this thing. Still I am unable to use it. I have downloaded many things over the internet over the years, but never have I had so much trouble as with this one. I feel that I have been slapped in the face and robbed of $85.
I am currently deployed out here in Iraq and I needed to do my 2007 taxes. So yes, I am very late in filing being that it is now September of 2008. I wish to God that I had just ordered the regular version and had it sent to me out here in Iraq, because I would have received it a long time ago at about half the price. The whole reason why I paid more for the download was because I did not want to go through the terribly long time that mail can take in getting all the wait here to my remote base. But, WOW!!!!!!!!!, was I wrong.
I have had one problem after another with this damned thing. The downloader, had problems, it seemed to be downloading then stopped, etc., etc., etc., on and on and on.......
I read through all of the hints for downloading. I went over the instructions for hours and hours, trying to figure out what the problem is. Now there is something which seems to have been downloaded, but which will not open. The computer says that it does not recognize the file type. I do not know what the issue is now. It has taken me forever to even get to this point.
The most frustrating thing is that I cannot get Amazon to even respond to me let alone give me a refund. I really do not want a refund, I just want this product to work as it said that it would. Now I am about 17 months late in filing my taxes and counting. I wish that I could give it a negative infinity minus infinity star rating.
