I only use Microsoft Money 2003 for my checking account. I go to my bank account online, hit a few buttons, and import my latest bank transactions directly into Microsoft Money 2003. It's very easy, and it always reconciles to the penny. If you import the exact same transactions a hundred times, they will only show up once in MS Money 2003.
With that said, I am also an accountant, and I have been using QuickBooks for years. Most small businesses today use either QuickBooks or another camparable accounting software program. The basic 2008 editiion is only a few hundred dollars and is definetely worth it for accounting.
I'm not sure how small and broke a small business has to be to resort to using MS Money as its main accounting software, but I would not recommend it for that purpose.Get more detail about Microsoft Money 2003 Deluxe [OLD VERSION].
